The construction industry in increasingly becoming more and more technologically advanced, we are now at the same point in the use of digital tools as the manufacturing industry was in the late 90s.
Visualisation plays an important part in the construction industry and not just in the visualisation of buildings before they are built. More and more, whole buildings are now designed via CAD system and just like in manufacturing, visualisation tools have emerged specifically to shorten the design process and build processes within the construction industry.
The integration of all of the systems that make up a building are once again done by different teams, HVAC, road layouts, airflow around a building for instance. Construction companies can benefit from large scale visualization systems by bringing these different designs teams together and allowing them to interact and make more informed decisions, and gain better insight.
