De Montfort University chose OCF's solution, over competition from HP and Sun as we offered exceptional value for money and had the ability to integrate the new solution with the existing system (previously supplied by OCF) to provide an integrated heterogeneous compute system with shared storage and backup.

Unique Aspect of Solution

This system is one of the first Infinipath based systems to be installed and offers extremely low latency and high bandwidth via the Infinipath adapters supplied by Pathscale and the Voltaire Infiniband switching.
