In today's highly competitive Construction Industry, there are multi-national companies competing constantly for high value business, for instance, the T5 building was in the order of £5 billion. To give Laing the competitive edge, they have installed a Collaboration Centre based on PC Cluster Technology and large Display Environments at their head office

The solution was architected by OCF and involves a number of different companies in providing the end solution

The cluster technology was provided by ORAD, which allows for standard applications to achieve greater than single machine performance. This allows Laing to visualise much larger models in a far more interactive way. They also have two display systems, one a single projector system and the other a dual channel system utilising the power of the Graphics Cluster

They can use the facility for bringing together all of the stakeholders involved in the project in a way never before realised. Through this collaboration they will make gains never before seen in the construction industry
