The Northwest Institute for Bio-Health Informatics (NIBHI) is a collaboration between the Universities of Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, Central Lancashire, Salford, Liverpool John Moores, Daresbury Laboratories and AstraZeneca

NIBHI aims to facilitate the application of Bio-Health Informatics theory into practice and ensure that Bio-Health Informatics research is informed by the needs of the biological, clinical and population health research in academia and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector of England's Northwest

NIBHI offers a focal point for the coordination of Northwest Bio-Health Informatics research, development and training, facilitating collaborative activities within and between the academic, industrial and health communities
